Our cannery starts its path leaded by Daniel Vicente Alvárez 80 years ago, in a small fish salting factory, placed in the fishing heart of Vigo city. ORBE is founded in 1941 as a tinned-fish and tinned-seafood factory, and from that time to the present, we continue to manufacture our tinned food taking the maximum care of the quality and handmade process.

Throughout all these years we have been witness of many innovative processes in the canning sector, such as raw packing or tuna packing machinery that boosted the large productions. On our side we contribute with a small innovation such as the incorporation of the keys to open the tins with a slogan that said “enjoy your meal”.
